- Either/Or, the name of a text by the philosopher Søren Kierkegaard, is far more filmic than the Philo-Mytho-Lyric-Clips. However, the narrative structure differs completely from the classic Hollywood story. A man doggedly attempts to arouse in a young girl the feelings of desire which he in turn feels for her. However, once he succeeds, he immediately abandons her. He values the sensation and excitement of desire above its fulfillment. In Either/Or, Bódy allows objects to play a seductive role: 'How the term 'erotic' is defined in the context of a picture or an image is very different from the sexuality that one experiences with another person, whether for one night or for a whole life. However, objects can be very seductive. In this film I have attempted to use neutral objects such as hair and fingernails, a universal spanner and a crowbar, all of them objects that are among the things that one would not normally want to take home'.
