I lost sight due to a blow on the head from slipping on black ice (leading to eye surgery, eventually) and now (because of artificially thinned blood) most steps I take outdoors all winter are made in frightfull awareness of black ice. These "meditations" have finally produced this hand-painted, step-printed film.

synopsis: Light Cone 1996

J'ai perdu la vue après avoir dérapé sur de la glace noire (j'ai reçu un coup sur la tête, j'ai dû être opéré des yeux et mon sang a été artificiellement appauvri). Désormais ma conscience du danger que représente cette glace noire est accrue à chacun des pas timides que je fais dehors en hiver. Ces "méditations" ont finalement produit ce film peint et tiré image par image.
